Pastor Anthony Richards went to heaven and I’m sure will be told ”Well done good and faithful servant.”
He lived with an intensity that was inspiring.
Pastor Anthony was a spiritual mentor, friend and shining example of living the Christian faith.
He was an includer, loved Jesus and had a heart for sharing and teaching the Gospel.
I fondly remember our Sunday night football get together and a couple rounds of golf. He clarifies that I used golf to teach and serve people, not just teach golf.
After a round of golf, I’ll never forget him looking me square in the eyes and saying, “You have a gift for teaching people, you use the game of golf and you’re not just a golf coach, you teach, serve and lead people…”
I’m sure he is getting feedback on how he can make his classes, sermons and teaching better in heaven and will be passed through our Holy Spirit. He loved his wife and was a fierce protector of her and his daughter and son.
My heart breaks for the Richards family and he will be remembered and missed…
